I am Joshua Janes, your experienced visual chef whose passion for creating art overwhelms the palate with bursts of energetic delight. I have had the great fortune to turn my love for the flavor of illustration into a successful career that began in my early education in Northwest Ohio. After High School, I moved to Dover, New Jersey, and attended the prestigious Joe Kubert School. I received instruction from accomplished professionals such as Tex Blaisdell, Jose Delbo, John Troy, Joel Naprstek, Irwin Hasen, and comic book legend Joe Kubert.
After graduating in 1996, I set out on an epic career in the field of commercial art, specializing for many years in children's publishing for companies such as McGraw-Hill Children's Publishing, School Specialty Publishing, and Carson-Dellosa Education. I have also applied my illustration and design talents to all forms of print and digital media during this journey, from concepts to finished products, creating licensed work for companies including Disney, Warner Bros, and DreamWorks.
I love to share my creativity and help others achieve their vision by providing them with the perfect illustration or design for their project. So for my first question, what can I cook up for your menu?

I currently reside in Ohio with my wife, Angie, our three children, and our Olde English Bulldogge, Pudge. I thank God every day to be alive in an age when you can witness a 70-year-old woman argue with an 8-year-old kid whether the Hulk could beat up Superman. Ah yes, life is good.
